Christmas Gifts for Ministers

After being a minister for over ten years, I've realized there are only a few things that we need on a regular basis.  I am betting that you never realized that your ministers really only need a few things, but are pleasantly surprised when they get a gift they really want.  If you are looking to bless your minister, check out my recommendations for the top Christmas gifts for ministers.

1) WOW Hits 2016 [2 CD][Deluxe Edition] – Not only will this CD be a blessing to your minister's personal worship, they can use it to bless others in their ministry.  WOW Hits continuously puts out a great blend of Christian artists from the year.

2) YETI Rambler Tumbler – These new tumblers are the rage.  When I saw my minister friend drinking from his, I immediately thought that it would be nice to have on hot days at summer camp or winter retreats.  They say it keeps drinks cold or hot twice as long.

3) Thinline Reference Bible – This is my absolute favorite, most used tool in ministry.  I love this Bible because it's slim and yet the text is still big enough to easily read.

4) Moleskine Classic Notebook – I have been to a few conferences where a smaller version of this was part of the swag.  It seems to me that most ministers still love to take notes by hand and journal.

5) Jeremiah 29:11 Two-tone Faux Leather 4 x 6 Photo Frame – We are always getting pictures, but we never have enough frames.  I can't tell you how many photos are sitting on my shelves that need a frame.

6) Starbucks Gift Card – This is really self-explanatory.  We drink a lot of coffee and we meet often here.

7) Buffalo Wild Wings Gift Card – I have not met a minister who does not like wings. They are almost never busy during the day when ministers like to meet and eat.

8) Contigo SnapSeal Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug – Every morning I walk out of the house with one of these.  One of my favorite parts of this is that it is vacuum-insulated, so it stays hot and is spill proof.

9) AT-A-GLANCE Monthly Desk Pad Calendar 2016 – This is one of those items that I write on once a day.  This is one of the less expensive, yet well put together desk calendars that I have used.

10) Monthly Calendar Planner – This is one of my favorite gifts each year because I always feel ready for meetings when I have it in my bag.

11) Pilot B2P – Bottle to Pen – Retractable Gel Roller Pens Made from Recycled Bottles – I was given this pen and it is so awesome, I've refilled it three times already.  They are inexpensive and found in many stores, last a long time, and write well.

I hope that this helps you brainstorm about a gift for your minister this year.  If you have any other suggestions, I would love for you to leave them in the comments section.
